Not in Iowa or New Hampshire?
Tired of not really being able to follow the Presidential Primary close enough from your state short of some text on a screen or a twenty-second clip on MSNBC or YouTube?
If you had the opportunity, would you spend an entire day with a Presidential candidate on the trail? What if the you could have the campaign make a stop right in your living room?
Well, let me introduce you to D-TV.

We're gonna try something new here at the Dodd campaign.
Four channels. Live video, recorded video, all Dodd, all the time.
For example, right now we are streaming from campaign headquarters in Washington, D.C. (that's the internet team, minus me -- in Connecticut). At 1:30, we'll cut away and go live to a campaign stop in Dubuque, Iowa. All throughout the rest of the day, we'll be updating the other three channels with clips from campaign stops and behind-the-scenes footage happening that day.
Schedule: July 5, 2007
Channel 1: Senator Dodd speaking at an ice cream social in Wellman, IA.
Channel 1: Clips from the Cintron Deli in Iowa
Channel 2: Live from campaign headquarters in DC (10 to 1)
Channel 2: Live from a campaign stop in Dubuque, IA (1:30 P.M.)
Channel 3: Parade footage from Norwalk, IA
Channel 3: Video from the Field of Dreams movie site
Channel 3: Clips from event at Waterloo, IA (6 PM)
Channel 3: Clips from Waverly, IA event (8 PM)
Channel 4: How you can get involved with the campaign
Tomorrow, we'll be live-streaming a concert with Paul Simon and Senator Dodd and, again, tons of video updated throughout the day.
This is going to be an endeavor we will strive to continue at this pace throughout the campaign. Whenever we can go live, we will. Whether it's from the campaign bus, campaign headquarters, and wherever/whenever the cell-card will allow us to stream live-video from.
Finally, we'll be taking questions from online viewers as often as possible. Just the other day in Iowa, Senator Dodd answered a question about Libby from West Virginia. If you have a question you'd like answered, please don't hesitate to email dtv at chrisdodd dot com.
Here's an example of one such stream we did on Tuesday from Ottumwa, Iowa.
Ultimately, the goal is to give you as comprehensive a window into the campaign as possible.
I hope you'll check in early and often to learn more about Senator Dodd.
Tim
